Was lucky enough to snag this card in the heat of the crypto-battle, only to find out it was the best 1080ti after researching my purchase. Immediately canceled my ftw3 pre-order and got a tattoo of this beast on my lower back.

-It’s a 1080ti, what really needs to be said? This thing is a monster of a card
-Rips through everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat
    -Runs quiet even under load
-Syncs nicely with Aura, and the lights look nice in the case
    -Triple fan design is nice
-Looks pretty much perfect in any high-end build
-4k is nice but 1440p/144hz is this card’s sweet spot for super high framerates and maxed out settings

It’s a 1080ti. There’s nothing like starting a new game, immediately maxing out all settings and still getting 100+ fps in 4k. The power of this thing is just simply ludicrous.
For a full graphics card, especially one that runs this fast, this card is exceptionally quiet. Even overclocking the card to 2125Mhz core clock and 5900Mhz memory clock I’ve never had the temperature go above 73C under the heaviest loads for multiple hours straight without the fans having ever gotten above 65% speed. Even running like that I need to mute the volume AND take off my headphones to actually notice the sound.
When I first ordered it I felt pretty nervous, thinking what if this $800 graphics card isn’t as good as I think it’ll be? Then when I got it it turned that not only did it satisfy all of my expectations but exceed them. If there’s an earthquake or something that knocks over my pc and breaks 1080ti, I would 100% get this one again without hesitation.

Plays ANY game on Ultra settings. On many resolutions.
Rarely exceeds 70c under load. Very quiet too.
RGB matches up with my Asus Z270 board and Corsair RGB ram. Nice light show.
My Corsair 780T case allows full view.

Highly recommended. If you can, get one. Should be all set for VR and 4ktv. My next purchases.

I’m currently going through RMA of my second Asus 1080ti. The first card died in the first week of use. The second after a couple of months. The symptoms are sudden drops in framerate, and the card runs at an extremely low clock speed despite showing 100% utilization. It acts as if it’s thermal throttling, but the core temp is at 40*C

Plug and play, Easy standard overclocking with Asus software, Temps are cool with the 3 fans, Just a great high end video card with everything you need to do any application that requires this kind of power. I have 8 Asus video cards going back to the 680 and never once did they give one issue and I pushed these cards beyond anything the normal user would , Without one issue.

-Performs about as well as my old Asus STRIX 980 Ti OC 2-way SLI did by itself in terms of FPS. The boost in VRAM is what tips this over the edge for me.
-First card that I received was a defect, completely unstable and displayed artifacts on BIOS. The second card works perfectly.

this GPU sure is delivering what i was expecting and even more!…i recently upgraded my monitor to 1440p 144hz and this bad boy does make it shine! the temps on this model are kept under control with this massive cooler with a silent fan curve without any problem. i did not try any OC’ing yet since it has more then enough performance for what i need out of the box. im really pleased with my purchase so far. thank you Asus for another great product!

    -Aesthetics, RGB
-ASUS software makes overclocking this relatively easy for inexperienced users like myself
-Option of not having fans run until card gets hot enough, pc stays quiet

Just arrived to replace my old GTX 570, which could barely run newer games even at low. This gpu is an absolute monster, if your budget permits I would definitely recommend to buy this card!

The ASUS brand does not need to say that it has a strong core, efficient cooling, and a strong performance that can control the temperature control so well, the steady overfrequency work

    – Easy to use software for overclocking and customization.
-Superior cooling design, works best with a water cooled CPU with a lot of case airflow.
-Speeds of up to 2100 with temps under 70 C

Fantastic card I was being stupid at first and left the film on the back make sure you take that off. It kept shutting down. After the film was off amd it was seated properly it runs great.

I upgraded to this from my Nvidia Titan X and the difference was instantly noticeable! Games stay at higher frame rates and GPU accelerated work that I do runs even faster. Temps also stay cooler compared to the Titan X, though I had the Reference design

    – Absolute monster of a graphics card, can handle the latest AAA titles at top settings with ease.

    – The ROG Strix 1080 Ti OC cooling solution is top of the line; mine as of right now has not gone over 70 C, and that is even while running AAA titles such as Witcher 3 at max settings.

    – The GPU Tweak software that comes with the card is excellent. Be sure to update to the latest version to overclock, manage, and monitor your card with ease.

    – Speaking of overclocking, though the card doesn’t necessarily need to be overclocked further (it already can handle everything you throw at it), I have found you can push the card further with ease. You can easily up memory and core clock with plenty of breathing room as the cooling on this card is insanely good.

    – In terms of cooling, you may think that this card must be loud to cool as efficiently as it does, and you would be wrong. My card, even when fans hit the upper percentages for speed, is extremely quiet.

    – Overall, if you’re wondering if the performance, design, and potential of this card match the price tag, rest assured, it easily does. In fact, I can say with confidence that it exceeds the expectations that come with that price. I’m honestly surprised it doesn’t cost more.

    NO CONS!

-Went from a 980ti to this beastly thing, so its easy to say the performance improvements are huge
-it easily eats up anything you throw at it, first day i setup a line of high end AAA games, maxed everything and this GPU proved its worth right there on the spot.
-Clean look, great RBG lights, nice software for OC and RGB selections, quite fan system with better cooling than my FTW 980ti which made me very happy, even under full load, and worked first day after hooking it up.

    – Great looking card with RGB on the backplate.
    – Whisper quiet and cool. Running boosted clock with ultra settings in 4k and never gets over 65c.
    – Great power too. Out performed my dual GTX 980 Classified in SLI with a single card.
